Social media erupted after a short video of a black man being shot was posted to Twitter. Little can be told from the short clip, but the social media mobs are already calling for the death of the shooter.

The “unarmed jogger” Ahmaud Arbery was once arrested for attempting to bring a loaded gun into a high school. When the school police officer noticed the gun in his waist band, the man fled from police.

The whole story isn’t conveyed in the short clip posted to social media. TheBrunswickNews has more on the altercation:

When retired district attorney investigator Greg McMichael saw a man he suspected of burglary sprinting down Satilla Drive on the afternoon of Feb. 23, he alerted his adult son and both men grabbed their guns, according to a Glynn County police report.

Ahmaud Marquez Arbery, who was 19 at the time, was indicted Jan. 28 for allegedly carrying a Big Bear .380 caliber pistol with him when attempting to make entry into the Dec. 3, 2013 basketball game.thebrunswicknews

Even Vice President Joe Biden responded to the video saying: “The video is clear: Ahmaud Arbery was killed in cold blood” One thing is certain, the video is not clear. The video shows the end of what could have been a longer altercation, we simply do not have enough information.

This sort of rhetoric is typical from an aging Democratic candidate during election year. The simplest and easiest way to drum up support for an election is by stoking racial animosity. Rationality and logic do not mobilize low information voters to the voting booths, but erratic, and dangerous racial instigation get’s the democrats everything they need, minority voters.

This is the sort of disingenuous rhetoric parroted by the Democratic Party that is tearing this country apart, along racial lines. When short clips, and mobs on social media become the judge & Jury, we no longer live in a society free from unjust persecution.
