Trump To Call For 10,000 More ICE Agents In Friday’s Immigration Speech

“We Will Deport All Criminal Illegal Aliens”

President Trump is set to deliver a huge immigration and law enforcement speech on Friday in Long Island, N.Y., on Friday, laying out the administration’s plan to defeat the MS-13 gang.

According to a senior administration official to the Hill, Trump is also expected to to appeal to lawmakers by linking the low number in immigration enforcement and the rise of gang-related crime.

The Trump administration is expected to ask for 10,000 more Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, additional immigration judges, legislation to speed up the deportations of South Americans, the passage of Kate’s Law and a bill to crack down on sanctuary cities.  Trump is also expected to ask for the commencement of the construction of the border wall.

“Migration is the principal factor that is responsible for MS-13,” the official said to The Hill, adding that Trump chose Long Island to “demonstrate humanitarian consequences of failing to enforce immigration laws.”
Last week, law enforcement officials announced the arrest of 15 MS-13 members linked to four murders on Long Island in April. Authorities have linked 17 murders on Long Island to the gang since January 2016, The New York Times reported.
