An Orange Coast College student has been suspended after filming professor who called Donald Trump’s election ‘an act of terrorism.’ The professor also called on all students who support Trump to “stand up,” so that the rest of the students can “watch out for you.” College authorities demanded that the student write a letter of apology, explaining why he shared the video on YouTube.
The incident took place in December 2016, when freshman Caleb O’Neil filmed Orange Coast College professor Olga Perez Stable Cox giving these remarks.
“Our nation is divided. We have been assaulted. It is an act of terrorism,” she told the students during her human sexuality class. “Mike Pence is one of the most antigay people in the world,” she added.
Campus Reform, a news website focused on higher education, released the letter of suspension sent to O’Neil on Tuesday.
“You are suspended for a period of one full primary (fall/spring) semester in addition to summer term,” the statement from the college authorities said.
Orange Coast College also called on him to write a “three page double space essay” apology to Cox.
A Red Elephants’ writer had a chance to sit down with Joshua Recalde, the student who posted O’Neil’s video on youtube. He said that this was just another example on how the left gets away with pushing their indoctrination agenda on college, high school and even middle school students all throughout the country. The bias is ridiculously blatant. And the bullying of conservative students by professors like Olga Cox goes unpunished in every single instance.
Here is our interview with him….
