The Spirit of America pro-Trump rallies on March 4th have gained a lot of steam, with many stories spreading across the web about occurrences at various marched more prominently the carnage at Berkeley yesterday. A gigantic March planned for Southern California was previously planned for March 25th in Costa Mesa, CA and has now switched locations due to the riots that took place during President Trump’s appearance there in April.
At the April 28 rally, several heated confrontations between pro-Trump groups and protesters ensued as the rally let out, and 17 people were arrested. Demonstrators blocked traffic and damaged several police cars, jumping on top of them and smashing windows.
In July, the Costa Mesa Police Department received a $15,655 payment from the Trump campaign to cover the costs for police services at the event.
The OC Fair & Event Center announced it will close the weekend of March 25-26, canceling several events, over concerns about a planned pro-President Donald Trump rally and counter protest near the property, fair officials said Thursday.

After OC Fair & Event Center officials announced the closure of the property during the weekend next month that coincides with a pro-Donald Trump march in the area, event organizers are now looking for a new location, according to a statement posted on the march group’s Facebook page.
“The organizers of MAGA March were notified by an organization that had previously agreed to partner with us to host an event at the OC Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa,” a Feb. 25 Facebook post read. “Unexpectedly, we were informed that we were uninvited to March. Due to this unforeseen situation, we will be moving the March away from the City of Costa Mesa.”
The Facebook event page currently have 2,000 “interested” and 1,100 people confirmed as “going.” The event moderators have recently announced that the event has changed to be at the Bolsa Chica state beach. Come one and come all!
