The Red Elephants would like to make an apology to Todd Bigelow for using his photography on one of our articles without permission.
We think that it is important to recognize the hard work that photographers go through to be able to produce their art/photos and how easy it is for people to take this for granted. Without photography, online articles and news stories wouldn’t exist in their current form, and without paid photography they definitely wouldn’t.
We urge all media outlets to make sure that you have the licensing and have paid for the photo that you are going to use in your news stories. There is a photographer somewhere who has taken that photo and is paying for their livelihood with it.
So in closing we want to apologize sincerely and we have taken steps to make sure this will never happen again.
