Mayor Bill de-Blasio Under Fire From Jewish Community After Large Crowds Amass For Rabbi Who Died From COVID-19

New York City mayor bill de Blasio fell under fire late Tuesday evening after he declared over Twitter that “the time for warnings has passed” referring to the Jewish community after they had amassed in large numbers for a funeral for Rabbi Chaim Mertz, who reportedly died from the coronavirus.

The massive crowds filled the streets against police orders to stay home after Rabbi Chaim Mertz passed away from COVID-19. Police attempted to disperse the massive crowds but to no avail.

This message comes directly after Mayor Bill de Blasio claimed he had went to see the crowds for himself saying “Something absolutely unacceptable happened in Williamsburg tonite: a large funeral gathering in the middle of this pandemic. When I heard, I went there myself to ensure the crowd was dispersed. And what I saw WILL NOT be tolerated so long as we are fighting the Coronavirus”

Twitter then erupted with many individuals comparing the mayor to Germans from WWII, he was compared to Hitler and called a “nazi”
