Vice President Pence cast a tie-breaking Senate vote Thursday to pass legislation that will allow states to withhold federal funds from Planned Parenthood and other health care providers that perform abortions.
Oh look! Donald Trump is invoking federalism again, letting the states decide on what they can and can’t do. Literally the opposite of fascism. Yet I’m sure some liberal somewhere that is uninformed of the true definition of fascism, is calling Trump a fascist for the bill. Or literally Hitler. One of the two. Or both.

The vote was one in a long line of Obama-era regulations, but this one unfolded with all the drama of numerous past conflicts over abortion funding — with Mr. Pence casting the tie-breaking vote in his role as president of the Senate, just like he did a few weeks ago with the vote on Betsy Devos for Secretary of Education.
“Let The States Decide”
Whenever President Trump was asked during his debates or during interviews about how he felt regarding the federal funding for Planned Parenthood, he would always consistently respond with “Let the States decide.” And with this bill they will, eventually.
This is just one piece of the puzzle that could start the entire federal defunding process of the formerly pro-eugenics outfit. Planned parenthood has recently come under fire yet again for an undercover video showing clinic admins admitting that they change the abortion process so that they can keep the fetuses in tact so they can sell them, resulting in a better monetary benefit.
But only in liberal-run states like California will you be encouraged to go undercover to investigate ‘animal cruelty,’ yet punished for going undercover to investigate cruelty against unborn babies. That’s what you call ‘liberal logic.’ The producers of the undercover videos of animal cruelty at slaughter houses are awarded publicly, yet the producers of the undercover videos showing malpractice and cruelty against babies as far along as thirty-something weeks, are currently being charged with fifteen felony charges.
Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, mocked Pence.
“Mike Pence went from yesterday’s forum on empowering women to today leading a group of male politicians in a vote to take away access to birth control and cancer screenings.”
The Congressional Review Act lets lawmakers undo regulations enacted in the last months of the Obama administration, with a majority vote. Congress has already used the law to eliminate Obama regulations that strengthened protections for streams near coal-mining operations and prevented some people with mental disorders from gun purchases.
