The last few months have been bizarre to say the least.
The U.S. has been going “Turbo America”, where the ruling class and its corporate allies are working together to erase Trumpism from the American political conscience. This has come in the form of the mass censorship purges of the last few weeks and efforts to bring the War on Terror to America.
Revolver News compiled a list of countries that criticized American Big Business’s intervention in politics. Countries such as Germany, France, and Poland stood out in their criticism of American companies’ political fanaticism. Heck, even Mexico has called out Big Tech’s policing of political discourse. The globalist Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel became apprehensive about how Facebook, Google, and Twitter collectively booted former President Donald Trump from their platforms in the final week of Trump’s term.
“The chancellor sees the complete closing down of the account of an elected president as problematic,” Steffen Seibert, Merkle’s main spokesman, stated during a press conference in Berlin. Certain civil liberties such as the freedom of speech “can be interfered with, but by law and within the framework defined by the legislature — not according to a corporate decision.”
The German leader’s stance is echoed by the French government. Junior Minister for European Union Affairs Clement Beaune revealed that he was “shocked” at how social media platforms acted in such a heavy-handed manner. “This should be decided by citizens, not by a CEO,” he told Bloomberg TV. “There needs to be public regulation of big online platforms.” Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire previously said that the French state should use its regulatory powers to combat “the digital oligarchy” and even described Big Tech “one of the threats” to democracy.
Mexican President Andres Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) surprisingly went out of his way to take Big Tech to task for unpersoning President Trump. “How can you censor someone: ‘Let’s see, I, as the judge of the Holy Inquisition, will punish you because I think what you’re saying is harmful,’” AMLO asked. “Where is the law, where is the regulation, what are the norms? This is an issue of government, this is not an issue for private companies.”
The Mexican leader even floated the idea of creating a social media platform exclusive to Mexico as a way to prevent Mexicans from having their right to free speech infringed upon by a foreign corporation.
“To guarantee freedom, for freedom, so there’s no censorship in Mexico. [We want] a country without censorship. Mexico [must be] a country of freedom. This is a commitment we have,” AMLO declared.
Poland is a country with a long history of experiencing censorship at the hands of its Soviet-backed Communist government during the mid-20th century until the Soviet Union collapsed. The Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki likened Trump’s experience with Big Tech censorship to what Poles faced under Poland’s Communist regime which routinely infringed on their rights to free speech.
“Censorship of free speech, which is the domain of totalitarian and authoritarian regimes, is now returning in the form of a new, commercial mechanism to combat those who think differently,” Morawiecki declared.
Poland is proactively taking the fight to Big Tech by prohibiting social media platforms from erasing content that doesn’t go against Polish law. Companies like Facebook and Twitter would have to comply, or they’ll be booted out of the country.
Under Poland’s proposal, Polish social media users are allowed to file a court petition that compels social media companies to restore deleted content if they believed that it did not break Polish law.
American Big Tech is pushing the envelope and other countries are taking notice. The endgame of the unholy alliance between the wokes and corporate America is to export its social revolutions abroad. The U.S. intelligence community and military-industrial complex are faithful servants of the globohomo consumer imperium. It will be their duty to spread American degeneracy far and wide.
In all honesty, politicians in the countries attacking Big Tech should do everything possible to drop the hammer on or kick out Big Tech. They would do themselves a favor by cleansing themselves of American degeneracy.
Indeed, it’s a weird time when foreign countries are the biggest opponents of Big Tech, while the overwhelming majority of the Republican Party does not lift a finger.
I hate sounding like a broken record, but if the GOP doesn’t get its act together and clamp down on Big Tech, it will disappear into the ether.
And they deserve it for being so weak.
