First Appearance Since Defeat: “I Wanted To Never Leave The House Again”

A defeated, tied looking Hillary Clinton made her first public appearance since the election.  At the children’s GALA event that she had scheduled before the election, she stood on the stage and said that “coming here wasn’t easy.”  She went on to say that she “considered canceling this event but kept her commitment out of respect for my mentor.”

The mentor she mentions is the organization’s founder, Marian Wright Edelman.

‘I am so proud of her in so many ways,’ Edelaman said. She has always been able to figure out how to get done whatever needed to get done, and I’ve always appreciated her for that.’

Well, I can certainly name one thing she didn’t get done, but thats neither here nor there. Anyhoo, Hillary spoke for 20 minutes, then left.

Clinton also shockingly said that she felt like she “just wanted to curl up into a ball and never wanted to leave the house again.” Scroll down for video.
