ESPN Anchor Says Trump Is A ‘White Supremacist,’ ESPN Responds By Doing Nothing?

Prominent ESPN Host Jemele Hill bursted off a series of tweets not about sports, but about how the president of the United States is a ‘White supremacist,’ nazi, racist, yeah yada yada yada.  We’ve heard this so many times before that we’re becoming numb to it.  But what ESPN is not numb to is the fact that over 70% of NFL fans are conservatives. And likely voted for Trump.

Did the network fire her though like they did with Curt Schilling who said that transgenders need to use the appropriate bathrooms? Nope.  They probably just laughed about it and agreed with her by the water cooler.  Heres the slap-on-the-wrist statement ESPN released:

“The comments on Twitter from Jemele Hill regarding the President do not represent the position of ESPN,” the sports network’s public relations department said in a statement Tuesday afternoon. “We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate.”
