Everyday we are reminded about the importance of border security. The ruling class did everything possible to obscure this topic from 2015-2016, when President Donald Trump was a candidate.  However, the forcefulness and veracity of Trump’s strong immigration restriction platform rocked the political establishment and catapulted him to victory in 2016. Despite the D.C. Swamp’s constant machinations to undermine Trump’s immigration restriction measures, the president’s message remains strong. And he is also being proven correct in real time on America’s pressing need for border security.

According to a recent statement U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released on November 3, 2020, methamphetamine is being transported across the southern border at record-breaking numbers. CBP officers have cranked up patrols at the borders to restrict the illicit drug trade that Mexican drug cartels are involved in.

In the statement, the CBP recounted how Office of Field Operations (OFO) officers seized around $61 million in meth.

“The trafficking and production of methamphetamine has increased substantially over the past year, causing drug traffickers to become more creative in their methods of smuggling their product into America,” declared Acting Port Director Andrew Douglas, Laredo Port of Entry.

The packages that were seized had about 3,000 pounds of meth that were destined for U.S. markets. ZeroHedge reported that the contraband would be transported along the “meth superhighway.” CBP detailed how officers seized the illegal drugs:

The first enforcement action occurred on Tuesday, October 27th at the Colombia-Solidarity Bridge when CBP officers assigned to the cargo facility encountered a tractor hauling an empty trailer from Mexico. The 2006 Freightliner tractor and shipment were referred for a canine and non-intrusive imaging system inspection, resulting in the discovery of 618 packages containing 1988.12 pounds of alleged methamphetamine discovered within the trailer. The narcotics have an estimated street value of $39,762,165.

The CBP talked about its second confiscatory action:

On Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the World Trade Bridge, the second seizure occurred when CBP officers assigned to the cargo facility encountered a tractor hauling a shipment of frozen vegetables arriving from Mexico. The 1999 Freightliner tractor and shipment were referred for a canine and non-intrusive imaging system inspection, resulting in the discovery of 352 packages containing 1049.84 pounds of alleged methamphetamine discovered within the trailer. The narcotics have an estimated street value of $20,996,610.

The current disputed presidential election has received the overwhelming majority of Americans’ attention, but we would be foolish to ignore immigration. There are already reports that immigration is surging on the southwest part of the border in anticipation of a potential Biden presidency, which is perceived to be soft on border enforcement. A Biden presidency would open the floodgates to mass migration, which Mexican drug cartels will fully exploit. Even worse, Biden’s mass migration plan would bring in 52 million migrants into America, which would dramatically transform the country’s demographics. As a consequence, the country’s politics would inevitably change.

Nothing short of an immigration moratorium is needed to put out this existential fire. Future generations should not wake up to find a country that is completely foreign to them. It would be an insult to the Founding generation and those who sought to protect its European character and pass it down to their posterity.
