Transformers in Minnesota are being put on notice.
Thanks to Republican State Rep. Eric Lucero’s bll, HR 1657, the idea of transgender athletes being banned from partaking in women’s sports is now on the menu in Minnesota. Additionally, biological males would be subject to criminal penalties if they use female restrooms, locker rooms, and shower rooms.
HR 1657 makes the commonsense assertion that a male is an individual with a “heterogametic sex chromosome pair consisting of one X chromosome and one Y chromosome.”
According to The Hill, “the bill would ban transgender students who identify as women from trying out for or participating in female-only school sports. It would make doing so a petty misdemeanor punishable by a maximum fine of $300.”
“The bill would also prohibit a transgender student from using communal areas such as restrooms, locker rooms and shower rooms that are designated female. It would make doing so a misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in prison and a $1,000 fine,” the report added.
The Gateway Pundit noted that Lucero’s efforts are not isolated. Various states are looking to pass legislation that prohibits biological males from participating in female sports following the House’s passage of the Equality Act on February 25, which allows transformers to participate in sports activity that they self-identify with.
Mississippi previously passed a law prohibiting transgender athletes from participating in female sports at schools and universities. Similarly, Wisconsin introduced legislation that sets to ban transgender athletes from participating in female sports from kindergarten up to college.
Due to the fact that the Minnesota Governor’s office and the House are in Democrat hands, this bill will likely not pass.
Nevertheless, Republicans need to start putting the transgender issue on the map. The normalization of transgenderism, is the normalization of mental illness plain and simple. According to some research, 78.5% of transgender teens suffer from some health condition. But this does not matter to the social Left, which is more concerned with cultural radicalism and trying to destroy American society.
The cultural Left must be put in its place and it won’t be done through arguments. It must be done through the force of law.
