A Huge Fentanyl Bust Went Down in Colorado

America is flooded with drugs. And if you think it’s just a coincidence, you would be wrong.

America’s porous border has left it vulnerable to drug traffickers from Mexico and Central America. Forget the terrorists in the Middle East, Latin American drug cartels are killing many more Americans by flooding the U.S. with hard drugs.

Thousands of Americans die from overdoses annually, and yet, we hear no calls for the U.S. to intervene in Mexico and BTFO drug cartels. Alas, we live in an insane polity that does not consider the very real problem of drug trafficking taking place in our backyard.

Let’s look at recent events in Colorado. Authorities in the Rocky Mountain State charged 64 suspected members of a drug trafficking organization who were arrested with over 77,000 synthetic opioid pills. These came days following a court’s decision to indict 19 traffickers for a massive meth bust in the Northern District of California.

In a statement that the DEA released on February 12, 2021 it was revealed that the Colorado drug outfit used concealed compartments in motor vehicles to carry copious amounts of fentanyl on top of heroin, meth, cocaine and firearms into the U.S. from Mexico.

Opioids are no joke. Over the past 20 years, nearly 5,000 Colorado residents succumbed to opioid overdoses. This number has been on the rise with the increased traffic of synthetic forms of these drugs coming from south of the border.

In the last few years, the amount of opioid related deaths have sharply increased in Colorado. In 2016, 49 people died because of fentanyl overdoses, while in 2019 the number of fentanyl related deaths grew to 220.

Colorado authorities seized a boatload of dope. According to the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, in addition to the confiscated, fentanyl 250 pounds of meth, 60 pounds of heroin, and over six kilograms of cocaine were seized in Colorado. Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser observed that this seizure was “a significant amount of illegal drugs taken off the streets.”

“By holding accountable the high-level organizers of this criminal enterprise and halting the spread of dangerous drugs, we can help save lives in Colorado,” he continued.

The contemporary Left’s radical fantasies yield very negative results in the real world.

Open borders doesn’t just consist of the “peaceful movement” of people. It involves the mass movement of people from incompatible cultures who will engage in criminal activities and undermine the host culture they interact with when the flow of immigration is not checked.

Will the GDP boosters get around to understanding this?

That’s where America First comes into the picture. By going all out on the national question, America First will unapologetically use state force to secure our border and prevent the election of a new people.

America is not a shopping mall for the rest of the world to loot from.
