In a recent article by the New York Times entitled “border at a breaking point,” the publication is now admitting that there is in fact a crisis at the border. After months of “:fact-checking” President Donald Trump on the crisis, saying that less people are coming than before, the publication now admits that there are more apprehensions than ever before and that we are facing around 1 million apprehensions in the fiscal year of 2019.
This comes long after research centers like Pew Research published studies about the amount of apprehensions in 2018 exceeding 400,000 with 35% of those apprehensions being family units.
All simultaneously outlets like CNN, NBC, ABC, The Guardian, NPR, and the New York Times, have all come out and admitted to their audience that Trump was right and that the border is in chaos.
Border Patrol has released several statement calling for a wall, saying that they need help with this crisis, and none of the so called “journalists” were willing to tell the truth. Now they are. Too little too late?
