Trump Makes Huge Decision Regarding Empty Supreme Court Seat

President Trump announced today his nominee for the empty Supreme Court seat left vacant by Justice Scalia one year ago next month. During a press conference held in the East Room President Trump introduced Judge Neil Gorsuch as his top choice for the job. During the conference President Trump spoke highly of the late Justice Scalia and introduced his wife to the crowd.

President Trump then brought Judge Gorsuch to the podium where he said a few words promising to do all within his power to uphold the constitutional laws of the United States of America. As always President Trump took time to brag about his nominee citing his educational background and his previous confirmation by Congress though unanimous vote for his appointment to the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals back in May of 2006.

President Trump has made it clear that he intends to follow through on all of his campaign promises and his nomination of Gorsuch goes miles to prove just that. The 49 year old Gorsuch and his wife both appeared humbled yet excited at the event. It is still unclear whether or not Gorsuch will be appointed to the seat as he must first be confirmed by the Senate. One can only hope that it will be a quick and streamlined process since it has already happened once before. Congratulations Judge Gorsuch, America’s freedom is in your hands.
