Should Berkeley’s Mayor Be Indicted? – Here’s Evidence He Supports Violence

Often times, partisan passions flare up and frivolous calls to imprison political opponents are thrown around. This happens often enough that sometimes we lose sight of when a political figure genuinely merits an indictment. Now some are calling for the arrest and imprisonment of Berkeley’s liberal Mayor Jesse Arreguin under US code 2385:

“Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government; or

Whoever, with intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of any such government, prints, publishes, edits, issues, circulates, sells, distributes, or publicly displays any written or printed matter advocating, advising, or teaching the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying any government in the United States by force or violence, or attempts to do so;”

The questions are then:

Did Jesse Arreguin make statements that supported and emboldened actions or groups that can be reasonably construed to be attempting to overthrow or destroy the United States or any political subdivision therein?

Did Jesse Arreguin publish anything that could be constituted as promoting the use of force or violence as proper for destroying the United States Government?

Can the frequent attacks on conservative rallies and speaking engagements and the lack of violence at liberal rallies and speaking engagements be seen as proof of an establishment supported wave of violence against conservatives?

Establishment Repression Of Grassroots Conservative Movements

Some may scoff at the idea that there is an attack on conservatives today because we have a conservative president. We have swallowed the narrative that conservatives are a privileged group for so long that we quickly forget things like the scandal in 2013 when it was discovered that the IRS was targeting Tea Party groups. Was IRS Exempt Organization chief Lois Lerner held accountable by the Obama administration? Of course not, instead Obama blamed congress and Lerner was released with full pension.  No surprise on June 13, 2014 the IRS first said it lost Ms. Lerner’s emails from 2009 to 2011. The IRS says hard drives and backups were destroyed for 6 other IRS employees too.

A search of examples of liberal rallies and speakers disrupted and terminated by right wing violence failed to turn up a single example.

Arreguin Guilty Of Slander and Radical Ties

If there is doubt about Mayor Arreguin’s involvement with leftist terrorist groups, there is none about his willingness to slander people with opposing views. Arreguin made it clear that he knew he had committed slander by his weak attempt at an apology for mislabeling Milo Yiannopoulos a “white nationalist.”

But can his Tweets be construed as promoting violence against conservatives?

Given Berkeley’s violent history of radical leftist activism, it can be said that the mayor knew that radical factions would take it as an invitation to use violence to shut down free speech. This is especially true given that one of the most prominent radical Berkeley activists, Yvette Felarca, is on his friend list.

Berkeley’s Treatment of Anti-Fa Under Arreguin is Unique
Every other police department holds these left wing terrorists accountable as demonstrated in Auburn. The fact that Berkeley is allowing these masked thugs to operate at will under the leadership of Jesse Arreguin is a smoking gun in and of itself. In most other cities, police unmask terrorists, as demonstrated by Auburn PD in the link below.

It’s important to note that many of the people guarding the last event in Berkeley were former police officers and military veterans who have come together in a group known as the “oathkeepers.” This is an account, from PJ Media, of just how little the police were willing or able to do to help

“The police were in this glass enclosed building looking out at all the mayhem, not intervening at all,” said Katrina. She had gone to the event to see Milo with a group of friends who didn’t realize it had been canceled until it was too late. Katrina said she and her group were trapped by the barriers when the ninja-clad ‘antifa’ goons came marching in. She was split from her group after she was pepper-sprayed and she hit her head when she fell on the ground. Some volunteers helped her get to the glass building where she could wash her eyes out, but the police were inside ‘sheltering in place’ and wouldn’t let her in.

“The legal aid person who was trying to help me and I banged on the glass and were begging the police to let her and me in, so I could wash the pepper spray out of my eyes, and they wouldn’t unlock the building,” she said.

She collapsed on the ground and volunteers helped her wash her eyes out with bottled water.

BAMN: The Scientology of Socialism

The most damning piece of evidence is the Mayor’s failure to denounce BAMN. BAMN is the Scientology equivalent of the socialist movement. According to former members, BAMN uses their privately owned households to make at risk youth dependent on them financially and then coerce them into activities they’re uncomfortable with. Here is a short excerpt from one young man’s experience with the group.

“When disagreements arise between base members of the group and the leadership (i.e. Shanta and Leland), that is when things get scary. In order to coerce people into doing what they want them to do, at the leadership’s command, this organization engages in a whole host of disgusting behavior like physically dragging people to meetings and political events, denouncing members who disagree as crazy/suicidal and encouraging them to take unprescribed medication, stealing money and i.d. cards to restrict the movement of dissident members, spreading lies about such members to turn others against them, etc. The list goes on and on. The way the organization makes this possible is often by convincing members to abandon their lives and come live in BAMN households. There, such members often become financially dependent on BAMN and many times, have no choice but to comply with orders so that they can eat and not end up homeless. Furthermore, many of the BAMN members are teenagers so this fact makes it even more possible for BAMN to prey on people that become financially dependent on them.”

So what do you think? Is the Mayor an accessory to a crime and accountable for all of the property damage and violence we have seen as of late?
